Does anyone know how to cure the onboard computer, mine seems to be washed out!

Let me try to explain. Just after picking our new beast up I noticed that the onboard computer thingie was telling me that the window washer water level was low. So under the bonnet I go and fill the reservoir up (which didn't take much to do, about 1/2 a lt). Problem is the computer is still telling me that the water level is still low:eek:

Being that the manual which came with the motor is in Portuguese and knowing all too well that the local (Portuguese) translations are not really up to scratch I'm at a loss in know if the problem is a hard-ware one or is it just a case of somehow re-setting the computer to let it know that there's water in the reservoir.

Is there a way to re-set?

Is it normal to have to re-set?

Any help would be greatefull.

Cheers Tiga,

Down-loaded a big load of manuals the other week covering Defenders right through to Range Rovers. I better take a deeper look in them.

Thanks for your help,
