hi all again, buy you all a pint (with one straw) if you can help me out, thing is i left my sunroof open in heavy rain for two days and got my switch pack wet...windows and sunroof would not work..replaced it with a second hand unit but with no sunroof control on it,worked fine for a while then the windows stopped working one by one over a period of time, now only the remote mirrors are working,is it poss that because i have no sunroof switch now that i have overloaded the system in some way, what do you think,,,,,any sugestions before i start looking for a pack with a sunroof switch on it
thanks in advance

Where did the second hand switch pack come from?? How do you know the replacement one wasn't bolloxed before you put it in?? Whether the switch pack has the sunroof button or not shouldn't make a difference.

hi wills, thanks for your reply, second hand unit worked fine at first but switches stopped working one by one as i used them....thats why i thought it was maybe an overload on the switch pack, though as you say i carnt see the lack of a sunroof switch causing it.
its definatly getting power from the becm and i have done a continuaty test on the pack....all looks good but the damn thing wont work

its hard to test the switch pack switches as you cant isolate them from the rest of the circuit, i have tried myself, it would seem you defo gona need another switch pack so maybe worth buying new, as it know to be good, and keeping roof shut when it rains (lol) then go on from there to see what else is required if anything at all.............
