If it will no longer accept the EKA code, it could be the drivers door lock micro switches have failed, do Marty's micro switch test, it's in the tech archive. Otherwise, if you have made too many failed EKA attempts, the BECM may be locked.

Only if the microswitches are working.

iirc it says there's a timeout period if the EKA fails to go in after the 3rd attempt.

Where in the country are you and what engine / year is it? Someone nearby might have a Nanocom.

atherton / m46ory when i unlock door with key it unlocks all the doors and tail gate thanks john

if i short the solanoed out it spins over but wont start cos imobilizer on
The sequence of events is normally that when the BECM receives a valid FOB code, it repeatedly sends the mobilisation code to the engine ECU. If the FOB does not work, entry of the EKA code initiates the sending of the mobilisation code.
You really need a Nanocom to see what is going on.
Are there any messages on the dash like "Engine disabled"? Or "Enter EKA"?
If the BECM will not accept the EKA and the FOB doesn't work you have a problem.
I ask again, what is the battery voltage? Low battery volts will cause all sorts of problems.

To clear the "windows not set" messages, each window has to go fully down and then fully up with the ignition on. If there is a sunroof that also has to go through the setting procedure.

Do we know what year and engine?

Yes windows are the same regardless of year.

Has the new key been synced?
if the key opens all the doors does it close all?

J
