Window mechanism

Hi,

Anyone else fiddled with their windows?
I'm changing the motor in my driver's door, as it's dead. Very dead.
Just wondering where the arms connected to the bit with the teeth go....there seem to be four ends and I'm wondering where they go!

What do you mean exactly? My RR is gutted now, and I can check. Changed the motor last month.

The driver's side is usually the one quitting first, mostly due to brushes wear. They can be changed, but it's a bit of a hassle and it's not worth it if you can get a good one from a salvage yard.

Changed and all now. I had to pinch one from the back window, but since they are being welded shut for commercial conversion, no probs.
