does anyonw have any pics of a very basic break down of a winch, in general i mean. people keep telling me to seal this and that before attempting any wading with it fitted and i have no idea what each part is called?? and what parts are ok to be submerged and what parts, simple please people, need keeping dry??

simple. Keep the solenoids (electric box contents) dry.;)
 
got it all fitted and going but now i have stripped it again and moved the solenoid to between the front seats. had to strip some jump leads and splice it in to hook it up temporary but all seems to be working lovely. its all 2 gauge. couldnt resist dragging my transit up the drive. test it properly tomorrow. should i strip the main winch body aswell and grease it up or should it be fine??
