Winch Bumper with Mod finished and fitted :-)

if i had a patten i would be tempted to get them laser cut so they are spot on
then work from that.
take my time over the winter in the garage ginding and tig welding

Just take off your bumper and measure up then

Looks like i will end up doing that
Main items good strong bed for winch and recovery points .
Want to use those swivel joints . Cant remember the name of them . The ones that go through a hole and held inplace with circlip to put shackels on .
Dont like some bumpers that have thick lugs welded on to front of bumper .

I've got a laser cutter and all the kit and was going to make a steel bumper. They do look far better than the original plastic. But.... my D2's an old vehicle, useless off road and I'd rather have a Defender. So the project is on hold

You havent seen the added strength i have added to mine since....well 'ard now
