    And if you were standing where that photo was taken when the vehicles that usually drive that particular road were there - my little RR would be the least of your worries!

    Don’t get me wrong... churning up the lanes is an anathema, however if that is on the plains, then it is understandable.

    @Salisbury Nick I do not bother going near the plains. I like my motors too much for constant repairs.
    have you joined Salisbury 4x4 they are out every Sunday?they look a good bunch of responsible green laners.
    I have a few dates to arrange around the ridgeway. I will drop you an invite once I get some dates.

    Tank tracks. The odd Green Laner on them really makes no difference.

    Just dropped the mrs off at a horse event & I know there are a few lanes near the area. So out In the L200 and welly boots for a look.
    Now iv drove some of the lanes in the area before & these are wide scalping stone drives.
    Loverly few miles done & just need to add these to a summer route towards a camping area. The ford(river crossing) was not even looked at today as don’t want wet carpets.

    Yep near Chippenham
    These lanes are open all year but some get overgrown
