Ok
Putting my self at the mercy of the pack i have 90 Truck cab. Love it don't want to get rid of it.
Want to use it for Wild camping getting out there and all that.
Planning to fit a half rack or wide bars across the tub, to take the weight of a tent any recommendations ideas on this would be grateful. I have fitted large ammo boxes as storage boxes on tub tops, but will need more storage.
The other bit is i want to keep three seats across the front two reasons so the kid can sleep in the cab if need be, and so we can still move three around.
I know it is not the norm and a bit of a challenge any advice ideas would be great as i am a bit stuck on what to do and what to prioritise.
Heres hoping...

Need to fabricate somthig I would think. Keep in contact I fancy doing similar myself catching a few Wabbits and camping out Up your way is great as we did a similar thing a year or 3 back just adhoc in a farmers field.

Nice one mate .. that'd work on any tub I reckon, keeping the rooftent below the usual roofline .. very innovative! ;)

Hi, you could have some heavy duty hoops made with provision to mount a roof tent above and then fit a three quarter canvas to keep your kit dry, these canvas hood are usually much cheaper than full hood and look good too.

Got to say that is the dogs bits for sure did you make the whole thing from scratch? Would you have any pointers with regards to height size, of metal you used all that?
Like the idea of the heavy duty hoops as well. Got me thinking have a half height frame made up to stay on all the time, and have a cover made to match them for day to day use, then drop a tray on top for the tent as and when needed. What do you reckon to complicated?
Have to say Hamsterberg you have set the bar high if you want to make me one it would make life a lot easier!!! as i have only just got round to trying welding Bird poo is putting it politely!!!!
