Wish they were as cheap as disco's though. Hard pushed to find a decent 110 which is less than 22 years old, for under 4 grand.
For that you can get a 2002 disco or a late mint p38. Having said that, neither could hold a candle to defender with regards to practicality and appeal.

I've also been tempted by these ex company vehicles you see. Usually they're fairly modified with all the fun bits, winch, decent tyres, side bins etc. Would be ideal for overland, but not as versitile as a station wagon. The compromise is of course high milage.
