He bellyied out on the slope after taking the **** out of a disco driver he had just recoved from water. I was sat watching the recovery, then he got stuck. I was then asked to help. His mates wouldn't help, but were happy to take photo's.

surely you meen ex-mates :rolleyes::D

Who needs going offroad if you can spend the afternoon in a cosey place sipping coffee and gossipping all the time ????:lvkiss-106:

whats the point in having 4x4 if you don't use the ****er! you might as well have a mgf it has the same number of faults but will take up less space outside the blue oyster club..........

gaylander for types who
1)couldn't afford a real landrover
2)could not afford to run one
3)kerb or car boot field the worse off roading they do.

Lets be honest a frisby is a heap of ****, and a deathtrap -check topgear or Ncapp

Speakin' from eggspearyunce, the gaylanders are ****e off road... never got me to where ah wanted tae be. Wasn't too bad on the road but drank more diesel than me trusty auld bus.
Ah saw sense and got mesel' a proper motor;):D

Crap....

Much better....

;):D:D

must say had a gaylander 2 tother day as a loner while the deepender was in for warranty repairs and seemed a nice enough "car" but did'nt have time to try it off-road (did'nt even get time to dig out me affro wig and dark glasses ) but thankfully nobody i know saw me driving it :D

Heeheehheeeheee!:D
Aye, ah agree they're ok as a 'car', or at least the 1's were. Never had a go in the 2's tho' so can't really compare.

And that's why they call them 'gay'

We cant travel in deep tractor ruts nor drive through water deep enough to get yr seat wet! So as long as you dont ground out or submerge you should be safe enough :D

Personally I think some of them pretty tratter boys protest too much ;)

Please make up your minds, is a freelander yes or no a 4x4 as this seems always to be the point of discussion with these tractor boys. If they need a gaylander to rescue them they quote it as a 4x4, when on the flat and they don't risk problems, in other words if they think not going to need any help of the gaylander club, they call it a non-4x4, so what is it after all ???
