Saint, you should get c. 25-31equivalent mpg. I always zero my trip counter when filling up and always fill up full each time. Then you can work out cost by either dividing your fill cost by miles giving cost per mile or divide the fil cost by cost of a litre of petrol and then by 4.55 to get gallons and then divide mioes by that to get mpg.

Sorry if it's teaching u to suck eggs but it took me a while to work it out at first!

Cheers for that....

My '93 Classic Odometer never worked and neither did the LPG gas fill gauge....so I used the trip meter to see how far I had gone, brimmed the tank and did the maths, then (because I am sad and a statisical data freak) jotted the Miles, Litres/Gallons and the mpg down on a notepad tucked under the sun visor....

I then started doing the same on the '99 2.5 DSE, then I got an iphone and these is an app called MPGCalc (£0.69p I think) and downloaded that, and you put your Miles in, the litres used and it works out your MPG, stores it into its memory and gives you a graph, averages, etc....great little app....

Only filled the L322 up once so far, so I haven't had the chance to re-brim the tank yet to see what MPG I am getting....but the last few days since getting it have only been around town and one motorway journey so far...so may not be a true comparison with my usual daily driving....

Many thanks for the advise though, I will keep y'all up to date on the MPG....
