Whining Noise from the back ??

hello.

we have now had our Freelander for just over the month ,1st week we had the cam shaft sensor replaced now we have some strange noises. As you were all excellent with your advice the 1st time round thought id ask you again !!

When driving along (around 50mph) and you take your foot off the accelerator there is a real whining/drone noise. is this normal as we are 1st timers to 4 wheel drive or is something not quite right??

There is also a knocking noise to the front passenger side , can hear it much more when travelling over uneven ground (could this be ball joint ??)

also our steering wheel is really squeaky, ive sprayed wd40 , but seems to be getting worse ? really annoying !!

any advice would be greatly received!!

Luckily if anything does need doing, we're still under warranty from the garage we bought it from.

wot model? we int thet good you int got slitty flop man int back have you. . . . .

REET. . . .Eartling, the squeek could be the steering wheel bushes [they are a type of ptfe [plastic] ] so wd40 is not good ,try silicone instead [spray type] but if fooked will need replacment. . .rear whine could be tyre noise check all same type fitted all round worn ones to the front, if off road type fitted then you will get tyre drone [fact of life] . . .yer front donk ,needs to be checked out a s a p. . . . .
