Hi all I've always found answers from you guys when I don't know so here goes.
1995 Disc 300 TDI auto VM 4 speed.
Went into MOT man, bit of welding on floor pan nothing terminal. 10 years in Japan has helped.
Had a new de- cat down pipe fitted as needed, it now makes a strange sound- it did not when first fitted.
It sounds like an S belt slipping, but not exactly the same, more like wind though trees? Whoosh....only under load.
There is no lack of power,, changes gear perfectly as usual and fluid is correct and clean.
any thoughts appreciated.
