whine and now a fluttering noise

hi there,
what started out as a whine at medium to high revs has now turned into what I can only describe as a fluttering noise and lack of ohmp; not blowing any smoke or overheating so my guess is the turbo on my Td4 has gone. can anyone confirm or advise what else the problem might be, whether it is gonna be expensive to fix and whether it is ok to continue to drive in the meantime?

i dont know wot it is - but YES it will be expensive to fix - everything is!

always a good bet not to drive more than absolutely necessary until yu know wot it is.
