Which Oil Seal Manufacturer?

try err2532g whether it comes from britpart or whoever it will be genuine part

They are a supplier, they buy lots of cheap crap as the market wants that. The G on the end of the part number means genuine, same as landrover. You can't stick the G on third party crappy parts.

Its the cheap pattern stuff thats crap, OEM (ie "G") is the same stuff as put on in the factory, just not in a box with the LR logo all over it.

not sure anyones pattern parts are much better tbh, for any vehicle.
 
I was meaning at the point of manufacture, thus passing off to any and all suppliers a sub-standard part. I might be overthinking the situation, but China is only a hemisphere away!

branded oem, so like timken, lucas. But yeah sure, anyone could make knock offs and get it into any supply chain. Batteries, watches, shoes, bags, boots, food.

nothing ,but britpart or bearmach wouldnt sell those, their cheap **** is sold as such , but retailers are a different matter perhaps who would know if only going from the box lr boxes arent hard to fake
 
it would have to be a coin toss

heads = bearmach
tails = allmakes

should the coin land and settle on its edge ..........get a genuine landy or freightrover one

just dont ever fit a britpart one

i fitted a ****part one to a 12j diesel engine i fitted in me series and the seal lasted about 10 miles so it was engine back out and a bearmach one fitted wich now im gonna sell the landy knowing its reet :D:D:D:D
