which is the brightest h4?

Hi all, my first posting.

Currently upgrading the forward illumination on my 03 Defender 110 DC.
The various threads on here have bin a really great help and time saver.
I have added 2 spots to the front bar and upgraded the headlamps to crystal glass modern units (the ones with the lens profiling on the reflector rather than the glass).
:scratching_chin:Thing is..........which H4 lamps are the brightest (and legal on road) ... There is a big choice. Anyone advise?

tbh i dont think the 100w were that much brighter

theese the jobbies any idea how much they are at halfrauds

I've got standard bulbs in my Disco and I can see where I'm going in the dark.

Lets face it. At some point yer engine is going to go on fire thus providing all the illumination you could ever want.

Failing that go to Halfords and get the brightest ones they sell. Thats what I did.

Osram Nightbreakers is what I have in mine. Nice and bright!! Had them when I had my Transits too... bloody brilliant!
