Today it smelt burning, that horrible plasticity/electronics burning.
Everything works, still, but fear something bad is about to happen, left it for an hour and went out to have a sniff, still smell it, can't determine where it's coming from, will need a bit more investigation.:mad::mad:
Could it be the GB ecu like in my old long gone RR:confused: or the HEVAC unit there lost a pixel last month:confused: melting wires:confused: Tomorrows daylight may bring up a clue...

Mind this was played whilst driving: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejorQVy3m8E

Was doing the weekly fluid level checks and noticed 3 small drops of pink coolant in the drivers footwell so it's o ring change time, to be fair have been half expecting it after ding some engine work a few weeks ago and accidentally leaning on pipes going through firewall. Have been reading your HowToo and will be tackling it tomorrow.

Noisy OS wheel bearing - been there ever since I've had it, sometimes more pronounced than others, but can't work out if it's front or rear, need to borrow another jack or axle stands to get both wheels off the ground to hopefully identify it.

Doesn't seem to be getting any worse but got a 800m trip coming up with family and grandkids . . .

found the fuel leak, on return pipe just above rear spring top mount. about as inaccessible as I can get. just ordering some 8mm kunifer and fuel line to replace it.

Maybe it will leak more oil than fuel then :D

None

It started, drove me where I wanted to go and back home again. Isn't this what they're supposed to do?

So, after another new battery failure (!) I fitted a replacement and in doing so apparently dislodged the coolant return pipe to the header tank.

Anyway the BECM kindly required me to enter the EKA, which went without a hitch, so put key in ignition and it fired up pronto. So far so good.

Until I got out of the car and shut the door leaving the engine running so as to get my multimeter, where upon it locked itself pretty much at the same time as I noticed the cooling system decanting on the drive.

Couldn't shut it down or open the bonnet.

Sprinted indoors for spare key which didn't work but I did manage to get offside rear door open by manually unlocking and holding it anti clockwise in door barrel.

Retrieved key from ignition, closed all the doors and the fob started to work normally.

Got a mind of its own, I'm sure.

(Bit like Dogsbody's, who tell us his RR drives him about):)

After reading horror stories on here about keys, I never leave the key in the car (running or not) without a window being fully open.
