Hello, I'm going to alter my 90 this Spring so that it's a bit more how I want it, but I would like a bit of input please :) I've very quickly messed around with a few images of my 90 as it is at the moment, to bring up some possible ideas. Which do you prefer and why?

As it is now:

The silly stickers are coming off. Will it cost me more to insure and tax if I put van sides on? Also, if I leave the seats in the back but put van sides on, what's it classed as?

well as far as im aware i think the tax stays the same on older vehicles, you can leave the seats and all in mines classed as a van but my insurance says it has five seats:confused:(news to me):p so i could put seats in i suppose:confused:

I voted Option 2 .. but only 'cos you didn't have a tilt and hoops option (softtop) .. ;)

Our old series had similar rear windows as yours is now, maybe a tad larger, and we once tried blacking them out to see the difference. Only thing it did was darken the rear where the kids sat! Couldn't see out much worse than with the windows!

I would have loved a canvas top though ... ;)

I'd like a soft top myself, I think a camouflage, or even a dark brown would like nice with the yellow paint. They're bloody expensive to get though.

when i took my fender stickers off the back panel ones were piece of ****s the door ones took all the paint clean off.even with warming them up

I was a bit worried about that, but if that does happen, I'll just have the whip the doors off and re-spray them. The door bottoms could do with welding up anyway. I'm planning on giving it a fresh coat of yellow over Summer. I'll see how it goes. ;)
