dear members,
i did a clutch kit replacement in april 2022 with kit of borg and today clutch is gone again. release bearing was loud from past few weeks but i ignored it. now i cnt engage grear when car is ON. please suggest me which clitch kit to choose from above as only these three brands are available in kenya.

thank you

Borg and Beck are a premium brand. The OE is LUK, but you didn't mention you could get than one. Normally Q & H are best avoided.

Sounds like the old not enough travel on pedal to release clutch problem. Is it s TD4 Freelander 1 ?

If so, before spending money and taking it all apart, extend the clutch push rod at the pedal end by about 5mm..

Original post mentions release bearing noise. Release bearing noise will be when the clutch is depressed, make sure it is release bearing failure and not the issue quoted by andyfreelandy. Or could be air in the system still. My Td4 I bleed every 6 months or so.

Hi John.
Hope you are well, any good reason for the Q&H quote or is it just fore the clutch or all parts they do? i have found in the past that some Q&H parts are of good quality, but have never bought a clutch kit from them. I had a Valeo in my old FL1 TD4

When I worked in the automotive industry, Q & H didn't have a good reputation for quality, especially ball joints and water pumps. So for an item that's many hours work to change, I'd avoid them. Having said that the replacement thermostat on my FL2 is a Q & H (was sold as an OE part) and so far it's been OK, so maybe they're better than 25 years ago.
