Which battery td5 winch....

I will soon be fitting a winch to my new winch bumper anyone know what battery would be best? ive looked at the optima they look good but not sure witch on is their only red and yellow which should i get for a 12,000lbs winch 6hp, Thanks Dan

whats wrong with your current battery?

My current battery is about buggered and if im going to be winching it would drain a standard battery quicker ive heard the optima ones are good for winching??? Dan

Rather than spend stupid money on single or twin optimas you would be better off buying the biggest truck battery you can fit in the battery tray.

I usually run a twin battery setup but on my current landy I am running a single full size lorry battery and it is as powerful as a twin battery setup but without the grief of a split charge system.
