Blend motor?? i have the glove box open and off, cant find the blend motor... i know its big enough so where it hiding, any hints as to where it is???
 
ok near the centre.... if im not back in 2 days, send out a search party and carry on without me chaps
 
If you have air con you may well find that there is a big black horizontal pipe blocking your view/access. If you can remove it you will find it easier to get at. The two on the other side are a real pain though!
Seach party is on standby......
 
Ok i can see the horizontal pipe (its in yer face) i may have to cut it in half to make it easier to look and find it, then tape it back together, so its behind the pipe then?

im just doing the left hand side.... now if i had 2 weeks off from work i might attempt the other two!!!
 
No, the blend motor is on the side of the heater matrix. Removing the pipe will give you better access. Without killing the pipe see if you can see it. Follow the wire that you should be able to see very near to the matrix. The motor is a small black box about 2.5 inches long. held on by 2 small screws.
The best way I have found is by using a small rachet/socket with screw attachment in that. Gives you turning force in a small space. Once you have removed the screws you will need to wiggle it loose. It wont be held in very tight.

I found it, left hand side, take the foot well out, bloody hell though that's tight, getting it out isn't gona be easy is it, you don't have to take the glove box out to get to it
 
I gave up....................... will try next week, a m8 is coming round to give me a hand with it, he has a lot more patience than me
 
ok anyone wanting to find it, take the foot well on the passengers side off (under the glove box) get your head right in and look up, where the heater (blower) motor is, its on the left hand side of the heater motor

As you can see no room at all, even getting pics isnt that easy, there upside down and the wrong way around, access is a nightmare, waist of time taking the golve box off (unless i know different next week) as you cant access it from there

Dont know about any body else but that last pic looks more like the recirc flap motor, had to take passenger side air bag out on mine then blend motor is on the right as you look in air bag hole, think you might be looking at wrong thing dopey.
 
I'm inclined to agree with KDS, just had a peep at rave (S80 page3) which clearly shows the recirculation servo, identical the 3 photos in the post from Dopey. Rave (Sec 80 page 5) shows the location of the blend motor.
