Mines creeps up from dead Zero but still sits very low - my experience of diesel wagons tells me that it's no quite right although my old 1800 derv fiesta would 20 miles to get to temp ! Driven this for 50 miles still doesn't get up on temp ! Any other advise ? Wouldn't mind eating it working right as it would be handy to know if the 19j is going to go pop !

Where is The thermostat located on this thing ? That's my first check I assume ? Really need to get me a Haynes manual I think ( are they any good for the Landy - the one for the 96 escort I had was a glorified user manual ! )

mine sits half way after about 10 mins driving or 20 mins on the driveway a luke warm through the heaters, thermostate is off the top hose under the 3 10mm bolts i would check the conections first then dive in to thermostate

red hand - that sounds alot like mine ...

gets off zero to between just onto the scale and 1/8th after a half hour drive !

very little heat in the cab - but enough to melt the ice off the inside of the windows ! - been down to -19 at ours !

will look at the connections and also when it warms up ill flush out the heat matrix - see if we can get some heat in the wagon !

top marks guy !

followed the wiring down and found nice corroding connections - off with them , cleaned them up with wirebrush , back on and coated in vaseline !

temp gauge now registers about quarter gauge and i actually get heat in the cab - melted all the ice on the inside of the hard top on a run today !

dried out the all the damp on the floors from the snow
