Getting a tan in Q8
I have been searching through the site and read to avoid Britpart. My question is where do you all get parts? My shopping will be mainly online as I am in Spain for a couple of years until I head back to the U.S. and then it will still be all online shopping. I can get some parts here for the Santana 109 but the Spanish parts are expensive generally. Thank you for the help.

Dunsfold as my first choice,as only supply quality parts with great service.... they only provide genuine or OEM parts where possible and Britpart as an absolute last resort, but only those with known quality (yes Britpart to provide some decent bits amongst the crap)

Other than that, Paddocks for good value and Britcar for widest range of parts as a last resort (really weird P&P pricing system though)

I also use lots of others suppliers for specialist bits.... if not able to get genuine or OEM then I would err towards Bearmach parts rather than Britpart - it short though, if it is an important part such as brakes, or something that you need to last, go for genuine or OEM parts every time - there is a reason why cheap parts are cheap!!!

Mainly LR series and Dunsfold for me if im looking for OEM items. Occasionally Paddocks or John Craddocks for less important items / consumables

Thanks all for the suggestions. I have come to terms that I will be paying a lot of postage on the parts so that part isn't really a factor anymore. I just want to get decent parts. I don't want to be redoing work because of faulty cheap parts. Especially the gearbox I am about to rebuild.

What is the full website for Britcar? I have been going through google and haven't seen a parts supplier yet. Maybe the muscle relaxers from the doc have made me daft but I am not having any luck. Thank again for the help.
