Where can I buy something like these lights

Yes, I have searched, not only here but everywhere else that might have them using as many different names and/or descriptions I could think of. But all to no avail, sooooooooo it's down to LZ.



Does anyone know where I can buy some lights similar to this. I wanna make a roof console and would like to fit four rotating/swivelling lights, twa for the back and twa for the front. SO twa units like this or 4 individual units, I don't really mind which.

Best I could find on Fleabay was twa auld individual type ones which are a bit tatty or twa new ones, but I want 4.

Map reading lights- scrap yard

I did consider that, but getting enough might not be so easy, and not many scrappies around here.

I'll keep hunting though.

They also have these on coaches, although I did a search on google and that didn't come up with much as fanatic says scrappy prob best chance ,keep us posted how ya get on, sorry I ain't been much help.

Yep, I did find quite a few on Ebay but they were all in the USA and I didn't fancy the postage costs.

They are also on aircraft and in some caravans.

However, thank you both for trying, looks like it'll have to be hunting round scrapyard time.

I guess it would help if I knew which cars have them. I know they are also in DAF 105 lorries, but I wouldn't get away with stealing them out of the ones in our yard.

my old man made a light cluster... he mounted a powerfull LED on a small plate and had it mounted on screws so he could set the angle

Somewhere that specialises in horse boxes or even boats (waterproof) might be able to help. Otherwise as above, the scrappy is your friend

I had something similar in an old caravan. So might be worth checking a caravan parts place, see if they can hook you up.

What about coach breaker- as long as 12v bulbs would fit

Ask a company that builds motorhomes or a commercial coachbuilder, if they don't stock what you're looking for they might know where to get them from

So, They fit them in Daf 105's, and I know they fit them in Scanias too. Maybe that's the way to go...

i`ve seen them in the quid shop......dont know how much though...
