certainly seems that way. that proved it last night to me, i mean **** sake they should of had the guinness book of records round, a P38 with no engine trouble, no hevac, becm or major electrical problems. load of bollox:D
 
Just watched it. Quite poor I thought. Did you notice the orange peel paint on the tailgate? Was it a resprayed vehicle with the front and rear badges missing? Head lamps were a joke!

One thing I did like were the upgraded seats. They look much nicer and more comfortable than standard. Wouldn't mind a set of those in my P38

If memory serves me right they did film a P38 owned by someone on LZ...why they didn't show it is a mystery. Call Scooby Doo.

any notice that he fitted the wrong front lights and eason it was cheap is that he got the later TAX band which is double the earlier p38
 
just watched it today on sky+,

What a shame they bluffed it. my question is why??

the list of things i noticed are as follows. wrong head light, window never reset, EAS fault never happened and never reset, fluids never checked, badges never priced. never looked over the suspension iun full like checking if the air bags needed changing. basically a bit of a sham.

fairly disappointed with the whole thing do like the series but think there might be a little more wool being pulled over our eyes than we might know about.
 
yeah , I dont know much about gay38's but if you take the battery out dont **** the whole thing up and have to reset it all or summit?

Battery comes on and off my spares dog on a regular basis, never caused a problem, I've also had the battery off my regular P38 several times with no trouble. Of course they are both diesels, they don't have those fussy V8's to go out of sync:rolleyes:
