Just a quick question about wheel nuts [for alloy wheels],can you get stainless or chrome wheel nuts for the Freebie-mine the black one's have started to rust up-has anybody got any----Thanks Dave

Loads on eBay about £20 for a full set brand new.

Stainless steel - not a good idea - not enough room to explain the metallurgical reasons here.

Mine rust a bit too over the winter due to salt etc.

I file em up a bit and spray them with black Hammerite in the spring - same time as I do the rear brake drums - look a treat. :D

I made a little painting jig from a wooden plate and dowel rod to make the painting easy. :)

Good idea,will be out buying some paint tommorow,need to do drums also--thanks for the info--Dave
