Hello, I was recently thrown into owning a Freelander 1 TD4 LHD, just figuring everything out - this page is awesome by the way - real time and money saver!
The hose (see photos) looks pretty squashed, I did some research, found another Freelanders (much more loved than mine used to be so I assume their owners know what they are doing) with the same hose heavily bent, almost flat - like mine. My question: what this poor hose does and is it OK to have it in that shape? Should I replace it?
Thank you guys for any suggestion!

Hi ;)
Thank you for super-quick answer! I can sleep better tonight

You'll sleep even better once you've checked you have 4 identical tyres fitted, with the least worn on the rear. Then do the 1 wheel up test and change the IRD oil. Then you'll sleep knowing the AWD system isn't going to self destruct.

Working on that as well :) The car had 4 identical tires, evenly worn, I bought 5 new ones. Good idea with IRD oil, I have small leak from "somewhere", maybe it's the right time to check it out!
