What's the wire?

Hi. Got a wire dangling out of engine bay. Goes back to hoses from steering fluid reservoir but where does the other end go.
It's a 3.9 v8. Es. New to forums and landrovers so daunted by the whole thing. Thanks for help

Colour may help so would a photo does it have voltage or is it an earth? but I would think its non standard so I don't have such a thing.

Maybe power steering idle up control wire. you can check by turning wheel at idle. If revs drop then likely that is what it is.
You then just have to search for the other end of the wire it plugs into.

i answered before buts disappeared ,its more likely off gear box cooler pipes that run along left hand side of sump there are no wires in pas system
