hmmmm its prob boring but only as resilient as a v8 and sounds terrible
lets be honest we are :5bbeatdeadhorse5:
you need jap or german to be decent, although some korean stuff seems to be kicking our arse also these days
tdi is the climax of their design and suffers less bore wear for miles doneSilly question perhaps... but with so many series 3s running around... would that not be testament to the resiliance (not resonance) of the 2.25,2.5, fourpot engines that they used?
Old heavy and expensive to run perhaps.... but if so many are still on service they must have had something going for them!
a;;ways loved my v8 but td5 is growing on meits becoming quite the tdi vs v8 debate
if fuel costs were not an issue, would we all have a v8 or would some keep thier tdis?
