I wonder if it would be a good idea to advertise for newly retired older mechanics who want to keep there hand in, maybe 4 or 5 places through out the uk.!

I've found Dingocroft to be very helpful but must admit I had some engine mounts off them that were utter ****e and had to be returned. They refunded the money without issue though.

Riddled with bullet-holes, sand poured out of the chassis legs, a faint aroma of cuban cigars and a single malt in the glovebox. Other than that the remains of a raghead hooked onto the harmonic damper was a giveaway.

Unless it was ex-Special-Administration-Service vehicle from Whitehall in which case it is factory fitted with silver-plated paperclips in the cubbyhole and has a whiff of bull**** from the rear seat.

A colloquial term and to be honest rather naughty and derogatory. It refers to a gentleman of middle-eastern origin by inference to the traditional head-garb or keffiyeh, favoured by dhaesh and, of course, Laurence of Arabia.

No. Me thinks it may have been special branch ! Some paddy stopped & told me he'd been chased by that thing more than once back in the 80's.
had a '93 going through, he checked the reg on his computer as we spoke & verified it saw service for 3 years.
How I found out it was " maybe " SAS was that I rang the guy that checks the history of all the cars for aution at BROOKLANDS AUCTIONS, they
