properly shat ourselves the other nite..drove into a nice bomb hole(or so we thought) 2nd gear as normal then all of a sudden the ground dropped away and the bottom dissapeared in water nearly upto the window line front footwells filled with water and i had to whack it into 1st gear a bit rapid and pull out of there damm quick.when we had let all the water out and surveyed the motor the water line on the spare wheel was about 1/4 of the way up it..have to say tho the old td engine still purrs like a kitten..

I should hope not too you ignorant tw@t. Why don't you just give the Ramblers a call. They'll probably give you free membership for doing so much of their work for them.

And don't boast about behaving like a ****er on here. The ****ers read websites like this just to find little gems like that.

wasnt behaving like a ****er it was a simple wrong turn and thought we would take the gamble.try to tone the remarks down people leaving messages like this send out the wrong signals about the forum its easy to get the point over without the use of language!!!

I'm sorry but at the point you realised you'd fooked up and then thought "Oh sod it lets carry on" You became a ****er, and TWArT. and if you'd got stuck in the bomb hole and the warden had turned up you'd have been splashed all over the local papers and the headlines would have screamed out "Illegal offroaders damage Nature Reserve" and the bobble hats would have been pressurising the council to TRO all the lanes in the area.
FFS Yorkshire Dales have just TRO'd half a doz lanes on the grounds that "a motor vehicle is detrimental to the natural beauty of the area." and the rest of the National parks could easily go the same way. and there's pricks like you posting on forums and bragging about how deep you were wading.
