Half of the right finger of a twix with the chocolate sucked off (sorry  ), a Korean style pot noodle and an assortment of pens and fluff from my office desk drawer.

When can I collect?

Not very helpful I'm afraid but it's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it.

I'm on my 4th freelander and haven't had trouble selling any of the previous 3 although the prices I achieved varied greatly. Depends on how quickly you need to shift it.

My last one was a 1998 l series with low miles good spec and good history......... I needed the cash and ended up giving it away practically!!!! Wish I still had it....... For some reason prefer it to my current td4!!!

What age & mileage? 3 door or 5 door? There is almost no chance of getting back what you have spent on that list unless you got it all very cheaply. For an early 3 door, you will probably be looking at around £800, for a later 5 door you may get as much as £1200 if you are lucky.

Some pictures would be useful.

No worries I just put the list as to what I have done with all reciepts for these items

Its a 2000 3door in dark red colour will get some pics once I have given it a bit of a clean as its grafted lol

When selling any vehicle replacement standard parts and such like over are viewed as running costs and hence don't really affect the price by much. You might be lucky and get a grand for it but more likely £8-900 often depending on accessories( light guards, bull bar, roof rack, side steps/bars)

Well, why not phone the Daily Mail and say you're a meteorologist and you have these predictions that a big freeze is coming the day after tomorrow? That should put prices up!

A rough price guide based on limited facts like reg prefix & mileage ?

Retail: £1,480
Private Good: £1,010
Private Average: £700
Private Poor: £400
Part Exchange: £820
Trade: £711

Hardly worth selling after paying out all that in last year .

Mine isn't worth bugger all but if I wanted to sell it I wouldn't be able to get a better car for the money, if that makes sence.

My engine has done about 80k miles, it's had a recent clutch and cambelt kit, intact in the last year I have done more or less everything in it bar the ird and diff but it I wanted to sell it all people will see is a 15 year old 4x4 with highish mileage and oil stains in the boot.

It's the reason I'm keeping it and selling the other one, before that depreciates any more!

This is makes perfect sense to me.
I keep my V6 because is worth much more to me than to someone else. No point selling a perfectly good car and not being able to get something comparable for the money.

I could probably double what I paid for mine going by the crazy prices the dealers are knocking like vehicles down here....

Sounds like youve sorted all its faults - Why sell it now

I know when a car has needed work doing on it you can get ****ed off and and sell but as long as it doesn't need more work doing it must be better to keep it and get some value out of your repairs
