Hello to all!!
Hope you are all ok

I have a few questions to see if you can help me and clear me.

My car is front wheel drive.
I have all the mounts for the rear diferencial brand new. You guys think its worth it change them? Will it make a diference on the handling or even if there is any clunk ? Is it worth it to keep the drives shafts in place ? or even to keep the diferential there? ( i know it will make the car lighter so maybe this one is not a good idea.. ).I also have all the poly bushings to change.....you guys think its worth it? I was told not to chanbe the engine mounts for poly due to vibration ,....

Can any one tell the location of the receiver for the signal of the key fob ?

My pressure bearing for the clutch is going ...i have to add oil every 2 weeks . When it has oi,l my gearbox (Manual) doenst make any sound no clunks or any slips, engages super smooth ...I know that once gearbox i sout we should change everything ....My question is,,,should i change the DMF?

Many thanks

If you aren't going to make it AWD again, then you could remove the whole rear diff, and pull the drive shafts from the CV joints.
I've seen a conversion where Honda (I think) rear axles were used, in place of the original CV joints, but can't remember more details than that. Here. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274943936764

Poly bushes do improve response on the road, but also increase road noise slightly. Improved response is only really noticeable on lower profile tyres, however.

The remote receiver is under the Ipack cowling, at the top.

Nodge was very clear there - but in case you did not understand.

You MUST leave the parts of the drive shaft that go through the rear hubs in place (or else your wheels fall off). You can remove everything from the outer CV inwards (to the center of the car).

As said, you can remove the diff. If you do, and the inner parts of the drive shafts, then have a word with @Alibro, cos you could put some significant batteries there for an EV ;)

Many thanks for the replys......
Any ideas about the clutch question. II was told that the DMF are almost bullit proof and usually you dont need to change them....True or not?!

Many Thanks

Generally the DMF will last 2 clutches, providing the vehicle hasn't been abused. Unfortunately there's know way to tell if the DMF is still serviceable, until the gearbox is removed, and the free play is measured to be in spec.
