Its the whole reason why I dont like the rubbish - you need to get it to that state to do head gaskets or an engine swop.The body gets lifted off with a two post lift then you roll out the chassis/motor etc.I have a 4 post lift - which pleases me as its a good excuse not to work on them.How about £1100 odd plus vat for the bits to do a clutch if it need a dual mass flywheel.(And it will.)

They are overweight,overcomplicated crap.Worlds apart from the original idea of a go anywhere vehicle that could also be serviced or repaired anywhere.Pikey flash trash.

Well, my P38 is in the garage for a recon head (2.5 DSE - say no more)
Before I got to take it I left it unused for 4 days and the battery was knackered so needs a new RF (and battery)
So at the moment, as much as I love it, I would trade it in for a Raleigh Chopper.

Blimey, once the body shell has gone, it's easier to work on than my tractor. Bet it's load of bastid work disconnecting things to get the body off though

I was never under one, hence my mis-led ignorance on what LR define as an Integrated Body Frame.
I think if you follow the rest of the thread you'll find I was indeed wrong and admitted as much.

Here's what I don't get. Why is there such demand for early L322s (no disrespect to those who bought one) when I clearly remember reading for years that until the 2006 makeover, ie MY2007, they were apparently quite problem-ridden? What's the experience been for the second / third owners on here?
