what age is the truck,for many brown is battery feed ,red/white starter feed white ignition,orange /white acc

If you have a test lamp or meter, you can easily prove what goes where. connect the Battery (thick brown) , turn the key as far as it will go, then the terminal with 12v on it should be the starter labelled STA. At the second key position the ignition light should come on.
