What tyres would you prefer?

I'm looking for new boots for you 110 CSW and I'm in a pickle over which tyres I want. I regularly us my Landy in wet muddy fields as I shoot from it but I don't pay and play etc etc.

I'm thinking BFG Mud Terrains or Goodyear G90's, I would also consider Insa Special Tracks if they're any good. I'm not fussed about road noise just fussed about getting out of boggy fields, but I do want them to last as most weeks I do over 400 miles on the road.

Cooper will do you better
Look at J Craddocks site damn good prices

and maxxis will do the exact same as cooper for less

so does cooper Kevlar at about 100 quid from Craddocks 235/85/16

50k warranty for tread on ats worth a look and they have maxxis cheaper than you showed

craddocks may well do but that was the first page I clicked just to prove they're cheaper.......all my tyres come from the local indy anyway

Have you looked at the other 785,731 tyre threads over the last ten years on here? …

Landy zone probably do as many tyre threads a year as carling do ####ing pints!

If you are doing 400 miles a week then coopers at3 or there st , great warranty. I get 60,000 plus out of there at's on a 1 ton ford f350 4x4
I will not run anyother trye last set went close to 80k miles with rotation every 6k miles when oil changes were done. You won't be disapointed. A lot of LZers are using them know and none have found fault.

Start here and look through the next 33,400 threads in the general section

Thanks Thor for the recommendation of the Cooper Stt tyres. They're a damn sight cheaper than the BFG Mud's I was looking at.

just watch wet/rainy roads. any large lugged tyre could get snaky on you, They handle a little different from a at type

I'm on 1/2 worn BFG Mud's on the back and totally ####ed Pirelli Mud's on the front ATM

Better off road than a at type but better road handling than the stt type

I use my disco for shooting and feeding up, a simular situation to you, I don't do pay and play or any serious off roading however I have just fit a winch as a plan 'b' to get me out if I get stuck without having to bother farmers for there tractor.
I have just put cooper stt 285/75/16 on mine. I was worried about road noise and how they handle on road but to be honest they are no louder than bfg all terrain and handle just as good on the road. They look quite aggressive and are ok off road for what I want.
Don't get me wrong they aren't insa turbo's but I would say they are about as good compromise for a tyre for on and off road.
