What size is the internal diameter of the radiator hose?

Hi All!

Could anyone tell me what size the hose is that goes to the radiator on a series III 109"?

The larger ones that take the main flow out of the bottom of the radiator to the water pump, and back into the top of the rad.

The internal diameter would be ideal. I gave Paddocks a call and they reckoned it was 25mm, but that seems a little too small from memory.

I guess the external diameter of the exit of the actual rad, the bit that the hose goes onto, would be better, as I need to buy a modified coupler.

I would measure myself, but I need to make the purchase on the way home!

ive just measured mine and it approx 40mm

and to be exact 1 1/2 inches which is the proper imperial size

Brilliant!! 1.5 inches = 38.1mm, which is what I thought it was!
