What"s it worth

I have a 1994 Disco 300 tdi 5 door that I have just put up 4 sale on this site & I was wondering what it"s worth. It"s done 227,000 miles, got 6 months mot & drives ok ( the full description is on the sale section) I paid £1,000 4 it 6 months ago with a new mot & have put it up 4 £750! Since buying it I"ve only done 180 miles in her due to a change in plans. I was just wondering if I"m being "optimistic" in the asking price.

I'd say that's a pretty fair asking price, although many people would be put off by the mileage. As long as it ain't falling apart of course, but then you wouldn't have bought it only 6 months ago if it was???

It"s not falling apart but obviously showing 227,000 miles there"s a fair amount of wear & tear (see my 4 sale ad) Do 300 tdi engines go on 4 this sort of mileage, or has it been rebuilt/reconditioned? It starts well, no ominous smoke & pulls well. A change of plans as soon as I bought her meant it"s done less than 200 miles in the 6 months I"ve had her. I"ve got another vehicle as my daily drive & she"s just sat there 4 6 months costing me tax & insurance( I start her every couple of weeks & drive a couple of miles just 2 make sure nothing seizes) She who must b obeyed says it"s got 2 go before the tax is due at the end of the month as she dosen"t want me "wasting" any more money. Hence the sale.
