Surely reading the tyre pressure rating on the side of the tyre would be the sensible thing for the muppet to do ?


As that'll give the min/max safe operating pressures
 
From 1000 to 800 psi depending on where we're going
Have friends that go as low as 500 psi
Find it makes a huge difference on mud and gravel also
I reckon the best thing is to try out different pressures and find what you're comfortable with.
