what mileage you on?

my N-reg 300tdi has just clocked on to 201,000 but according to the previous owner it was reconned at 130,000 so should be ok for abit yet

Mine is somewhere in the 300,000 km mark, not totaly sure as the speedo was changed but the engine/gearbox/transfer is original (200tdi) and is brilliant if a little noisey!

Over here as the weather is better rust is not an issue (well not too much of an issue) so I will be hanging on to her for quite awhile yet.

For a 30 month old vehicle that is the avarage mileage 9600 or so a year.
My 1997 disco has just clocked up 37000 it's only a weekend car and then only sometimes.

My 300TDi was owned originally by Guiness (yes the drink!) and is now at 182000.

95 300 tdi 113,000 miles pretty low fo the age i reckon

i got it off a mate who had a disabled son, he only used it once a week to take him to hospital, sadly his son died and he no longer needed the disco so he sold it to me 2 years ago..

can I have it? lol

104k on a 2000 V8 lpg , how long do V8 engines last????

mines been on 158000 for the last 20k, must fix it soon but with defender transfer gears and big tyres its all a bit woozy anyhoo

My 300TDI now has 330,000kms on it. To get to this mileage, I dare not mention how many parts I have replaced on it in and how many mechanical problems I have dealt with in the last few years. I reckon that I must have got a lemon. This time I am about to replace a seized PAS pump. In comparison my Toyota Landcruiser (4.2Turbo diesel) with 400,000kms is an exceptionally reliable vehicle. Never gives any trouble.

i was so inspired by this thread i've fixed my speedo now
