more patches than original metal

K plate 200Tdi 184000

I once had a TD mondeo which i swapped for my old series three and at time of swap yes swap it had 336000 on it!! My missus thought i was the mug! lol

thats nothing for a mercedes 6 cylinder engine.

My previous 814 had 940,000 on the clock when I had to move out of it. My current one is barely worn in at a mere 575,000.:D

Yeah those enjuns are sommat else, I got into the back ov a cab in Paris, merc 6 cylinder jobbie, 997,000 (km) on the clock, smooth as a babies arse.

Me disco is on 190,000 and still going strong.....

My 1991 200 Tdi had done 229K when I sold it, and I bought it at 36K, nearly 200K of faultless motoring, just gearbox rebuild! It sounded like a swiss watch when it went. My current 1999 300Tdi has done 106K, still going strong, this one is even better than the firts one. I did have a 1998 with 50K on the clock until Eddie Stobart wrote it off for me on the M6; this one was a bit noisy, the transfer box I think, perhaps he did me a favour. :D

Just another baby, 2002 TD5 just been MOT'd at 43554 miles. Bought the LR when it was 3 years old with 14800 miles. Tows a domestic caravan never been off road except for a well mowed lawn on a caravan club site.
I admire you guys that do the mud plugging I don't have the time or money let alone effort to keep them on the road after a weekends activity. Good luck to you all.

for one you can get out of the mrs's way when your fixing the landy:rolleyes:

i'm at head gasket fooked due to plastic dowels range in my td5, 85k! my wifes just clocked 7.5k in her (brand new last month) toyota avensis, and our spare car (VW golf gttdi) has just rolled over 110k (and compared to the citroen c3 i was given as a courtesy car while the disco was being fixed, still feels brand new). still,........................cant wait..................get the disco back tomorrow! best car in the household!

Mine is showing 175,000, i have an oil leak i need to fix behind the cam belt cover but other than that its runs sweet as :)

1997 disco 300tdi es - 100,738 miles
was owned by Land Rover till it was 4 years old, then owned by an old guy who sold it to me. apart from him topping the oil up so it was 2.5ltrs OVER the max mark i cant find many faults apart from usual cruise control not working and the diff lock being stiff.

91 200 TDi 180,000, still starts on the button and goes way faster than the susspension would like it to :biggrin1:
