Once you switch off the car and you do not touch any button, should the suspension stay to its last value or should it drop to the floor?

I have seen a car which stays up and one that drops immediately!!?!
The one that drops goes back up again once you turn the engine on.

What about overnight, should it drop?

Thanks

See Range Rover P38/4.0/4.6 Common Problems and Fixes - the info is all out there :)

Overnight it will drop slightly due to ambient air temp dropping etc. Not only that any leaks show up overnight as the system is unused for several hours. Every 6 hours the EAS ECU is woken up and it relevels, so if you have a leak and a corner has dropped, after 6 hours the system will level things out again.
