Been spending embarrassing amount of time looking at tyres / tyre wheel combos...yawn...have to make a decision, reckon will go for non remould on steel wheels so I can drop the now limited tube range currently on the old ( probably rusty on the inside) 110 ex mod :)

took it out to see if the mound of loose road surface was about to try understanding the suspension a bit better with the combination I have. got some real good articulation and think I have a better understanding now. also sorted out the reverse lights onto a manual lit switch so now I can get annoyed with oblivious people walking behind me when I am trying to reverse. and also filled a random hole with another lit switch for my roof lights.

had a play with my mates aswell and adjusted his rocker clearances sealed his snorkel and nearly lost my hand down the top of the snorkel lol so a boring day at work turned quite productive.

also found one of my front pads has worn on a slant so I have 3mm material on one edge and very nearly nothing on the other, would I need a caliper rebuild kit or just new pads?

only problem now is after taking mine to a private (we are allowed access) field mine now refuses to stay in high range and makes on hell of a bang when it kicks out to neutral so had to crawl the 2 miles home in low range 5th gear. anyone got any idea what might have happened.

Mine is being a #### at the moment. Air con pipes spewing into the footwell and she thinks I haven't unlocked her properly so won't start from unlock on key fob, have to repeat the cycle in the cab on the fob then she starts.

Love her weally....:p

I've been to a fabricators and had some aluminium sheets cut and bent to cover back windows on csw to make it more utility.
Just need to chuck some paint on...sealant and rivet.

Not sure what causes it but my mate had it and fixed it with a cable tie to keep it jumping out! Lol

Stripped it down for a rebuild.

Front end prep today.

Lights out, sand + scratch + fill and hopefully prime if the weather sticks. Just need to figure out how to remove this aerial and whether to drill the new chequer plate to replace it in the original location or not..........

got it to stay in high box by taking the selector knob off so the main box lever doesn't nudge it. think I need some adjustment

Front end final sand and fill & prime except window surround and vents + front to back offside filling of doors and wings

Passed MOT with 1 advisory! Loose bolt on the Panhard rod! Was the culprit of my dodgy steering...

Smoke test came back at .20 m-1 I understand this to be good?
