Well i removed my useless middle seat and installed a center metal cubby box, so there is now storage in arms reach and loads of it to....

What you doing with the seat? I'm after one so that my daughter can be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the joys of greenlaning and pay and play :)

Today i removed the front prop. I had a great trip home last night at 45mph with some lovely grinding and grumbling noises coming from under the landy.

Managed to get under it today and yup UJs knackered at transfer box end.

Still now I know that the centre diff lock works (dash light doesn't mind) as I now have a 2wd Landy.

Tomorrow I'll have a look at what bits I need to get to change the UJs

Replaced all the bushes with genuine parts, bugger cutting and drifting out the old ones. piece of **** pressing the new ones in with the bearing press i made up in the week.

went to my local engineering firm gave him the sizes of what i wanted, he cut all the bits to size, £25. Could have got the steel cheaper but it was worth it to get it all cut especially the corner braces

Great job. I've been thinking about making one recently butthe cost of buying a big jack to stick in put me off.
What tonn jack is it?

It's an 8 tonne one I keep in the fender, don't think they are expensive to buy, would need a much bigger one to press bushes out, mine would not move with the jack.

Lots of black smoke and low in power. Today it Made me remove the EGR valve what a difference on a run out this afternoon wish I had done that a long time ago. :)
