Finished the dual battery system albeit with a slight issue, changed the wiring so that the alarm is fed off either battery :D, fitted a new front wiper switch to the motor, moved the alarm siren, new front wiper blades and new rear washer pump albeit with another slight issue.

Should get the slight issues done tomorrow and a few more jobs.

Ide fit a couple diodes on each wire if the batteries are split otherwise you might get drain.

Cant tell without knowing the exact setup, ide just wait n see if it drains.. if it does just put a diode on each feed.

Thanks. The only electrical connection between the two batteries is a 200 amp relay. When the relay de-energises there is no connection at all. The alarm, interior light, stereo, work lights & spots all power directly from the 2nd battery so when the ignition turns off they have no way of drawing power from the starter battery.

just be carefull that the solenoids are rated for continual use

I took off the origanal front bumper this evening and replaced it with a winch bumper, will hopefully fit the winch in a few days ,

any one got any ideas where i might put the number plate as the center place is now taken up by the winch

Well three jobs finished today!

Fixed the button for the rear wash, now both washers work
Rewired the dual battery system's switch wire to ignition through a switch - now fully working
PaulMc managed to get hold of 2011 electric window plugs so now both the electric windows are working
Connected electric window motor to total closure system so alarm closes both both windows and locks doors.
Fitted the passenger side door trims.

Whoooo it is much nicer now :D

Well washed then wire brushed the chassis down. Then 3 cans of tetra schultz. Sanded the cross member down and a wee spray of hammerite. Keep the orange stuff at bay!
