Did a bit of work on the nearside today. I was going to re-use the top panel, but decided it was too rotten in the end, so decided to cut the old one out and prep the area for one I have ot from a scrap disco. Pics below.

I know i`m not the first to do this, but I done it anyway..
fitted second battery underbonnet on my J plater Disco 200dti, but joined it up in the end so I get double cranking AMPS @ 12V...
originally I planned to seperate the 2nd, only joining via 12V solenoid at starting, charged via split relay, but said boll locks in the end...
I left the lights on for about 2 hours, started just fine after, but silly single V belt to alternator squeeled like a pig at first.?..must try new belts I think?

Nice one.:):):)

Hopefully you can keep motivated and start bring everything together.

Drove it to Newbury showground. & bought a receiver hitch towbar. :D So no more ploughing for me. :5bhurray:

Got a sticker anorl :D :D wot says.. "Caution Does not play well with others." :hysterically_laughi

Un I got used and abused by Medusa. who made me carry all her heavy items round the show ground. & stole me pocket money. :hurt:

Newbury auto jumble was good - what a place to go on the wife's birthday - hope she pays me the same compliment when it's mine!

picked up a bargain at newbury, pair of rock slidders for the double cab , 12" steering wheel for the old 90 and a pair of 2" spring spacers for the 90 too .
got a bergen re-chargable magnetic work light too been looking out for 1 for ages .
did have to laugh asked a guy how much for a pair of nato door tops , £180 each or £280 the pair  did'nt want the fookin landy to go with it !!

Just bought him a new V8 from a Snatch, comes with service history and all the extra's plus the HD rad for an extra £10

Total = £410 next day delivered

So thats me skint, I'll be going down the scrappy to get me some Audi seats from the A8 they're breaking I think as I sold my bucket seats after realising they weren't going to be much use

Realised I have a funny judder when I go over bumps on the motorway.
Could this be caused by the WATTS linkeage or is this something more serious?
The judder commes through the steering wheel and is quite unnerving!:5bnopity::5bnopity:

(I do need new WATTS linkeage bushes)
