I put the truck cab back on and chopped off the windscreen mounts ready for re-welding tomorrow (in the right places) :doh:

Replaced the rear brake pads, not very exciting

Turned a blown filament bulb into an LED bulb to get my fuel warning light working...ordered an new fuel gauge sender as old one is knacked....

I know the feeling. I've got to empty the rest of the coal out of the landy before tomorrow when I'm meant to be going to get some more. It's too bloody hot though.

Tried to change the only TRE that hasn't been changed - can't get the damn thing out of the track rod.

Heat, oil, big hammer etc

Buying a new track rod next week - just pi£$ed off that we can't bomb around in the good weather!

well after fixing my temp gauge problem a few months ago (bad earth) decided to fit some angel eye headlights fits them an now the dam temp gauge has kicked off again:doh: but the lights look good

just changed the front o/s hub on my disco 2, there was a lot of play in the old one so i thought that was the cause of the three amigos , it was quite easy to do with a big breaker bar and 13 stone of idiot on the thick end to take the hub nut off is was straight forward ,oh how happy i was that
a id done it in one day
b id not broke anything not related to the job in hand
c the missuss made me 2 pots of tea while i worked
d it didnt cost the earth to do
e i really thought it was going to put the dammmm light s off
can anyone tell me if i need the lights resetting or have i just failed again
has anyone near doncaster got a diag machine to plug in ??

Removed the passenger wing and plastic grille from my S3. No photos of the scary guy tonight, sorry.

Went out laning locally after diff install locker works as it should deliberatly went over a cross axle at tickover and it was great.

Drove about for a couple of hours aimlessly as I forgot how much I love driving the 90.

Come home re attached the winch will have to finish wiring it another day. I also fitted some shiny un broken lamps again to be wired up to my exixting wiring another day.
