Mucho cooling but will wait on that now. I stuck a thermostatic cooling fan on the back of the rad too. Also with the td rad on could use the old coving th draw the air to the engine.

will let you know if it makes a difference when i get it back together, will be adding a fan at a later stage when the bank account recovers

Getting this air box sorted has cost a Bledy fortune. But wanted it smart. I do need to source a recon steering box. Lol you don't need the old intake hoses do you? Lol

You know the ones that went to the airbox and turbo.

Cost me nearly £250 for all the pipework, t-clips, k&n for the top and outerwears sock. No I don't will have a sort out and you can have em if they are any good to you.

Yeah much appreciated just smart ending up now. Would be interesting to meet up in the future maybe at a show and compare conversions.

i have changed my front shock absorber mounts they were shocking (no pun intended). I was going over bumps and it was clunking so had a look today and they was worse than flat. I forgot to get a picture of them to show how bad they was. All changed now the shock doesnt move in its mount so its job well done i think.

Picked up my rebuilt turbo today for my td5

Moved it off the drive put some rubbish in the bin fitted 2 mud flaps to my little trailer, filled trailer with more rubbish fitted a jockey wheel to the trailer and reversed landy back down the drive!

Just seen my bank balance and unless my expenses get paid like tomorrow I'm not playing at the weekend!! :-(

went exploring the nooks and crannies of the Isle of wight and then stopped for a toolbox BBQ and cuppa at Yarmouth.

Went in mine to the forest mushroom picking, no luck. Did manage to disturb a load of hunters stalking game. Don't think they appreciated me roaring through there stake out and giving them a toot toot. They probably had as much luck as I did looking for mushrooms.

just put disco through dreaded mot. passed with clean sheet,can chill now,funny how those three letters fill you with dread even if youre sure youve done everything.

Replaced right rear indicator bulb - clever me

Fitted a new water pump. Not bad for £18 .

Had a week off work to sort out all the stuff on mi disco that i hav`nt had time to get done. Monday fitted a new timing belt/idler/tentioner

old belt, not much wrong with it but last owner didnt know when it was last changed so for my piece of mind i did it anyways

tuesday changed the oil/filter/fuel filter
wednesday finaly put the finishing touches to my interior from when it caught fire last year
and to day fitted a new set of rear shocks


tomorrow is welding day

Spent £95 on it!

Didn't quite fill the diesel tank! First time I've used straight diesel for a long while .. and the feckin' last!

I put that a week in my v8 and it gets me just shy of 200 miles
