What have you done to your Landie today.

I finaly got the brake pedal back!!! after weeks of attempting to bleed the system thinking I had air in it I read a thread on landyzone and checked the position of the springs, I had the top spring from shoe to shoe - which is wrong - I unhooked the spring and connected it to the lug on the back plate and my pedal appreared. so I'm well chuffed.

I'm of now on the hunt for a hub seal kit and a wheel bearing - I found out that is wasn't brake fluid in the drum but oil!!!...........will it never end, you have to love 'em.

Put 7L of coolant in the rangie, only to find 7L of coolant on my drive, was coming out as quick as I was pouring it in :( limped to a mates landy garage, fudged water pump

Hearts been going a billion miles an hour Untill he rang me, could have been worse I spose!

You did take the cap off before you tipped it into the rangie dint ya:D:D:D

Done both oil filters and changed the oil, gotta find time to do the track rod but need to get a ball joint tool to do the ball joint at the same time

Used the 110 to move furniture from Exeter to Kernow, then used the 90 to deliver half a ton of grower's pellets out to the woods, ready for the arrival of our pheasant poults.

As I have got the Disco back after ages, I thought I ought to do an oil change. Last one was 10.5K miles ago .
Did that... funny how the washer supplied with the oil filter is twice the size it needs to be .
did the oil change, fixed the osf indicator which was half full of water . had a look at why the nsf door window clonks - the scissor mechanism has a duff wheel :(, so anyone gorra nold scissor mech?
then decided to have a look at the air filter............

Noticed a bit of steam coming from the engine bay, gonna keep an eye on the coolant level as the temp isn't rising past half way, the heatings working spot on and I cant see any other problems.

Need to fit the electric horns tomorrow if I get a chance, check the oil, tyres and fit the wading kit really……..Just seem to have a lot to do atm and not enough time to do it all

Oh and two of my roof lights have stopped working, I'm thinking bad earth as last time it wrote off the relay, hopefully this time it hasn't and its just the fuse.

Gonna check them out tomorrow too and see if I can fix this if not I'll be re-wiring them
