Nowt, but as it's school holidays and I'm caretaker, I am now in possession of a ****-load of shelving for the shed, a couple of office chairs for the shed and for No1 son at University, and a shed-load of 'other stuff' that's being chucked out, like containers and things. Hopefully I can get me shed in some sort of order now, and might even have access to some tools and things I haven't seen in a while .. If I get round to it ..

All scrap metal from school put to one side. I had 3 trailers of the old steel framed chairs with canvas back year ago. Weighed the lots in.

Old aircon units and rads too.

Disnt rob the place! Was tasked with it for contractor refurbing

Yeah I get a few chairs ... hopefully gonna have a few hundred later next month as we should be replacing all ours .. and school lets me weigh 'em in and keep the proceeds .. mind, I wouldn't do it otherwise and they'd have to pay to get 'em removed ..

Or if they are good sell in batches of 10 or so. Know i guy resprays them over a weekend and sells on.

They're plastic seated infants chairs .. mostly not very good for anything other than infant schools. We used to give them to local groups but they're too small to be of much use ... and the 'elfinsafety bods don't like old stuff around youngsters so they get chucked away ..

Ah. Obviously bigger ones have more demand!

re wired the spotlights on my Disco 2 using an old fashioned relay and switch, at leastthey now actually work!!!!!!

Changed doozil filter and won a Haynes manual on fleabay for a bargin of £5.50 including delv

MAde a twit of myself. that's what I've done on mine.

collecting logs in the series 2 started first time today

got a pair of rear door hinges from a lad breaking a disco..

and replaced mine as mi rear door nearly fell off last night when bottom hinge pin sheared through!

remember to lube ya hinges as part of ya service routine..

Managed to replace blown headlamp bulb on my facelift D2. What a bloody palava! so its all put back together again but 2 of the plastic screws which hold the grill on were pretty knackered...someone before me had obviously been impatient and heavy handed and it was a bit of a pig to get off.

Anyhow I need 2 more but cant find them any anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can get them from? tried paddocks, fleabay etc but can only find D1's.

Done the fuel filter air filter, waiting for it to cool down a bit before i do the oil and filter change..
BTW asda got castrol gtx fer £12 atm

Starter motor off cleaned lubed and still no dice, new starter then.
New steering damper fitted and that's not right either so unsuccessful morning.
Oh well Monday is another day
